Greenhouse & Food Security Project

Organizing Okies have partnered with OKC Mutual Aid for our Greenhouse & food Security Project. We're growing year-round produce to help feed Oklahomans! Our goal is to have a Greenhouse in all 77 counties! We currently have 1 in Bethany and 1 in Del City. Getting ready to add a 3rd in McAlester! This project is about stewarding our food resources so that all may have some. 10% of every harvest will be preserved while 50% goes to our unhoused population.

If you would like to get involved, please volunteer! So many great things happening around the Greenhouse!

Currently working on fundraising to add dried goods like beans, rice, oats, flour, cornmeal, sugar as well as meat to our Harvest Giveaways!

Please consider donating to help us add these valuable things. Farmers, ranchers, meat markets, etc. please consider donating these items for our families in need!

Operation Save our Unhoused

Organizing Okies and OKC Mutual Aid is pairing up to help prepare our unhoused neighbors for forced migration. In need of backpacks, sleeping bags, and tents.

CoreCivic OK Opposition

CoreCivic is trying to reopen prisons in Sayre and Watonga for immigrants. These prisons were closed down because of the many violations of human rights and dangerous conditions both for inmates as well as guards. We stand Opposed to CoreCivic, a for-profit prison, profiting off kidnapping human beings from their homes, jobs, streets and markets.
