Stewarding Oklahoma

Food Circle
Food is a Human Rights
The Food Circle exists to ensure that every being in Oklahoma is nourished through cooperation, care, and respect for the land, the waters and the peoples within it's borders.
This circle does not produce commodities — it cultivates relationship.
It honors soil, water, plant, animal, and human as kin in one ecosystem of reciprocity.
To serve as a Food Steward is to be a bridge between abundance and hunger, between earth and table.
Your task is both practical and sacred: to coordinate food and water systems that are fair, regenerative, and communal.

Housing Circle
The Housing Circle exists to ensure that every person within Oklahoma has safe, dignified, and sustainable shelter — without condition or hierarchy.
Shelter is not a commodity; it is a right born from existence itself.
To steward shelter is to serve both people and place.
Each wall repaired, each home built, and each key handed over is an act of community care — an acknowledgment that life is best lived when everyone has somewhere to rest, recover, and belong.
Health & Wellness Circle
Health and Wellness are Human Rights.
Every human being is entitled to whole-body, whole-being care—without judgment, without cost, and without delay.
We define health and wellness through a decolonial lens:
Not the absence of illness, but the presence of balance, dignity, and freedom to feel.
A holistic spectrum that includes:
‣ Physical care (entire body, eyes, ears, teeth, skin, mind, emotional, and soul)
‣ Nutritional nourishment and herbal traditions
‣ Mental clarity and emotional fluency
‣ Spiritual grounding through ceremony and meaning-making
‣ Communal healing in interdependence with others
Transportation Circle
The Transportation Stewardship Program exists to ensure accessible, safe, sustainable, and community-centered mobility across all 77 counties in Oklahoma. Rooted in the values of collective care, it supports all individuals regardless of ability, age, or location. Transportation is viewed as a right that enables access to education, health care, food, community participation, and wellness.
Mission: To provide equitable and sustainable transportation services for every resident in the Stewarding Oklahoma model.
Vision: A fully interconnected state where every person can reach essential services without barriers.

Covenant and Stewardship Oath
We, the people and stewards of Oklahoma, form this agreement to reawaken the bond between human beings and the land that sustains us.
Our purpose is not to rule, but to remember — that care, when practiced collectively, becomes freedom.
The Stewarding Oklahoma Framework exists so that every county, every town, and every person may live within communities designed by and for human beings, in balance with the earth, waters, and lifeforms already dwelling there.
This is both a ceremonial covenant and an oath, ensuring that every act of governance remains rooted in compassion, equity, and community responsibility.
Founding Declaration
“We hold stewardship as our sacred duty, for the land remembers who tends it.
Each human being is a bearer of care, and together we restore the balance.”
On this principle, the Stewarding Oklahoma Framework was founded as a statewide network of sovereign counties, united by shared purpose rather than ownership, and governed through Direct Voting, Rotational Stewardship, and Consensus Decision-Making.
